Guillermo del Toro Says Silent Hills is Cancelled

Silent Hills may have met with a sad fate as P.T was announced to be being delisted from the Playstation Store, this of course followed weeks of controversy with Konami and Hideo Kojima having problems. Hideo Kojima is of course a major driving force behind the new Silent Hills game but the games fate seems to be dark at this time. It has been announced previously that Hideo Kojima will be around to finish work on Metal Gear Solid V the Phantom Pain, but sadly it appears this will not end up being the case with Silent Hills.

According to photojournalist Matt Hackney, Guillermo del Toro (who is co-directing the game with Kojima) told the crowd at the San Fransisco Film Festival last night that Silent Hills has been cancelled. Until an official announcement is made from Konami it is still not clear if Silent Hills has met its end, however it is definitely seeming likely.
