Image & Form’s Steamworld games have been a huge hit on Nintendo systems, so it only seems fitting that the company would want to go down the route of the Shovel Knight amiibo and create there own. The studio produces little videos from time to time discussing various topics, these videos are called the Engine Room and as part of the latest episode they discussed the possibility for a Steamworld amiibo.
While the studio is certainly open to it, they do mention the challenge that would go into such an undertaking. More importantly though the studio wants to see fans support the idea and even see there ideas for how the figure would work and how it would look. All this however is the question of the matter, while it would certainly be cool would this actually offer anything to the game, and have useful features.
