Fans of Halo 3 and Reach might remember a multiplayer mode that was quite popular that went by the name of Infection. This mode was loved by fans but was removed in Halo 4 which upset a lot of players, but with a new game comes new opportunities and Halo 5 is seeing the return of the popular mode.
During a stream for the upcoming Halo 5 update Ghosts of Meridian a sneak peek of the mode was shown, obviously showing the modes return to come with the update later this month. Here is the teaser for the mode:
For those that are unfamiliar with Infection the mode featured a team of uninfected players fighting a team of “zombies” who added new players their group with every kill. The Call of Duty fan base might be familiar with this mode given its inclusion in both Ghosts and Advanced Warfare, obviously the mode was inspired by Halo 3 and Reach.
