Kingdom Hearts IV is set to launch in late 2027 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. Disney and Square Enix also confirmed that Pixar’s Coco will be a new movie world to visit in the game in a trailer released at the D23 Disney fan festival, as reported by TheSixthAxis.
Coco joins Kingdom Hearts IV
The trailer shows Sora in material inspired by Coco, including skull-like face paint and a Keyblade transformation, as he races around and battles Heartless. Coco draws on Mexican culture and the celebration of Day of the Dead.

The footage also returns to Quadratum, the real-world-styled city setting introduced for the new story arc. Sora appears to have become separated and trapped there, while Mickey, Donald and Goofy seek a way to reach him. The trailer shows Sora moving through the city, grappling with objects, running up buildings and launching midair attacks.
