Gamers will now be able to give Mega Man 11 a test run.
A demo for Mega Man 11 has been released on the Nintendo Switch. The demo will soon follow for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 7. In the demo, players will be able to tackle Block Man’s stage. There will be three difficulties and the opportunity to try out some of Rush’s abilities.
It was also announced that there will be a special challenge alongside the demo. Entitled the Bust Block Man Challenge, players will be tasked in defeating Block Man, and then displaying their victory on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with the #BustBlockMan hashtag. Each victory will chip away at a statue of Block Man. When enough players defeat him, everyone who played the demo will receive single-use items that they can use in the full game.
Along with the announcement of the Mega Man 11 demo, a new trailer was released. The trailer shows off some of the game’s levels, as well as some of the Robot Masters that the blue bomber will be fighting. We also see that there will be a Challenge Mode, as well as a Score Attack mode. Finally, it was shown that those who pre-order the game will receive an alternate in-game soundtrack DLC.
