Microsoft has revealed the games you will be able to get your hands on as part of their Games with Gold subscription service as we start a brand new year.
Leading this months games is Killer Instinct: Season 1 Ultra Edition which will be free on the Xbox One all month long, Xbox One owners will also be able to get their hands on Zheros which will be free to download on the console from January 16th through to February 15th.
Owners of the Xbox 360 will be getting their hands on DIRT Showdown for the first half of January, this will then be replaced by Deus Ex Human Revolution which will run to the months end.
Just remember that all Xbox One owners will now be able to get the 360 offerings for their console thanks to backwards compatibility and the fact that all Xbox 360 games made available through this service are backwards compatible.
I look forward to playing DIRT Showdown and Killer Instinct but Deus Ex Human Revolution was a pretty pathetic game the first time I played it so this does not really grab my interest. All in all to open a new year there is an okay collection here but I feel Microsoft could have done better.
