In a completely unpredictable move, Nintendo has localized Mother 1. Combined with the fact that Lucas is returning to Smash, could this mean that Mother 3 is being localized as well? Nonetheless, those who have not yet played the fan translation of Mother 1 can download the game today on Wii U Virtual Console. Even if you have played it before, you should still buy it to show that there is interest in the Earthbound series, in case Nintendo is just using this to test the waters.
