New Nintendo 3DS hitting Australia and New Zealand this year

Sorry to any American or European people out there but you are going to have to wait for the New Nintendo 3DS until next year like originally scheduled while for once we Australians get to have all the fun.

In a surprise Nintendo Direct from Australia it has been confirmed that Australian citizens and the New Zealanders will be getting there hands on Nintendo’s latest handheld console the New Nintendo 3DS (yes I know it is still a stupid and very unoriginal name) will be arriving on there shores on November 21st so Australian consumers can buy the console and play there brand new copies of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire on the console. The console will be launching in Australia after Japan but it has been confirmed that Nintendo has no plans to release the platform outside of Japan and Australia this year so you will have to wait.

On the other news it has been confirmed that Xenoblade Chronicles will be hitting shores all across the world but it will most likely tie in with the launch of the console in America and Europe along side a small array of other exclusive titles for the new Nintendo 3DS.

If you live in Australia it has been confirmed that you will be able to get a hands on with the console or a try before you buy if you prefer at EB Expo and PAX Australia.
