To fans of the Persona franchise the announcement of a potential release date is huge news, even if the announced release date has no connection to North America or Europe. Either way Atlus has officially confirmed the release date for the upcoming Persona 5 in Japan revealing the game will be coming to the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 on September 15th.
For fans Persona 5 has been a long time coming, even more so when we consider a comment made by Atlus USA last year who was adamant the game would arrive in 2015, yet here we are in 2016.
It is okay you may not know when the game will be arriving anywhere but Japan however you can enjoy the games fourth trailer. It shows off what a lot of people love about the Persona franchise the stylish gameplay in and out of combat. You can check out the new trailer below:
While this may be disheartening for the fan base in other countries I believe we can rest easy knowing that a release date for the rest of the world could be announced as soon as E3. Following this I expect the game will arrive in late 2016 or sometime early 2017.
