Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed four PlayStation Plus Essential Monthly Games for September 2026: Chained Echoes, MLB The Show 26, Sniper Elite: Resistance, and Wobbly Life. All four titles will be available to subscribers from September 1, according to the official PlayStation Blog announcement.
Reports published before Sony’s announcement identified Sniper Elite: Resistance, Chained Echoes, and Wobbly Life as part of the September selection. Sony’s confirmed lineup also includes MLB The Show 26.

Chained Echoes is a story-driven, single-player JRPG set on the continent of Valandis, where a group of heroes seeks to end a war between three kingdoms. The game uses a 16-bit-inspired fantasy setting that includes dragons and piloted mechanical suits.
MLB The Show 26 focuses on baseball modes including Road To The Show and Diamond Dynasty. PlayStation Plus members will also receive access to the game’s Jump Start Bundle for a limited time through PlayStation Store. The bundle includes five The Show Packs, one Equipment Pack, and a Jumpstart Choice Pack for use in Road To The Show and Diamond Dynasty.
Sniper Elite: Resistance brings the series’ sniping, stealth, and tactical third-person combat to occupied France in a story that runs parallel to Sniper Elite 5. Its campaign can be played in co-op, while the game also includes Axis Invasion, competitive multiplayer, and Survival mode.
Wobbly Life is an open-world sandbox with interactive activities, mini-games, toys, secrets, and story missions. Players can explore solo or with up to three other players through online or local split-screen co-op.
Platform availability differs across the lineup. MLB The Show 26 is available on PS5, while Chained Echoes is listed for PS4. Sniper Elite: Resistance and Wobbly Life are available on both PS5 and PS4.
