In light of the PSN issues that have been surfacing recently comes news of the possibility of PS Plus prices becoming more expensive. IGN reported that subscriptions in countries like Ukraine, Turkey, Russia, and South Africa all rose unexpectedly overnight. IGN actually said in their article:
Particularly worrying is the fact that South African subscribers were given just 24 hours notice of the change, after which the cost of a three-month subscription jumped 51 percent
51 percent, for those of you who don’t know, is 50 cents added onto every dollar. People are outraged at this. There is no reason for sony to do this, especially considering the number of downtimes the PSN has.
