Capcom announced earlier this year that they would be bringing the older Resident Evil games 4, 5 and 6 to the Playstation 4 and Xbox One, they were quick to release Resident Evil 6 to the marketplace (the entry in the franchise that was not exactly well received), and now we may know when Resident Evil 5 will be arriving. Despite having issues with the game and its action oriented focus Resident Evil 5 is at least considered to be fun by fans of the franchise, so those who have never played the game can potentially mark their calendar.
Wario64 has come across a listing on the Xbox UK online store. According to the listing Resident Evil 5 will be coming out on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One on June 28th, this has lead to some speculation that we could see a potential showing at E3, however I honestly have my doubts. This version will come with the prequel downloadable content, Lost in Nightmares, this will also bring the mid-game Jill Valentine content titled Desperate Escape. Resident Evil 5 will cost $19.99, it will be made available both digitally and physically.
