Screenshot Saturday – April 3rd

Indie game developers share their work progress every week on Twitter with the #ScreenshotSaturday hashtag. In this piece, we take a look at the most interesting and eye-catching screenshots or short videos of indie games shared on Saturday, April 3.

GameLuster has a Screenshot Saturday round-up every week. You can check out the previous list here!

Adventure Light

These Inside inspired screenshots were shared by @ChervonyiYuri in this tweet. The atmosphere and the visuals are stunning, and having the lantern as the only source of light can create an interesting element to the gameplay of a sidescroller. The game looks to be in the early stages of development, but it already looks promising!

Broke The InvestiGator

This short video was shared by the solo developer @COWCATGames in this tweet. The game just looks amazing. The character design, the art style, and the animations are very good, and it looks like it offers a fun and interesting gameplay. You can wishlist and play the free prologue of Broke The InvestiGator on Steam!

Crystals Of Irm

The developer Crystals of Irm (@nothing_A_D) shared these screenshots in this tweet. The pixel art and the color palette look very beautiful and detailed, and we are hoping that we get to see more of this world in the following weeks.

You Can Pet the Doodled Dog

The developer of this untitled project (@Ben_Lega_Vidya) shared this new animation in this tweet. The art style and animations are so unique and minimalistic, and even this short scene is full of beautiful effects and visuals. We are excited to find out more about this game in the future!

Affectus

Affectus

They say don’t judge a book by its cover, but this game cover for Affectus looks so amazing that it’s enough for us to get invested in it. The game’s Twitter page (@AffectusGames) shared this image in this tweet, and we are excited for the future of this project. The game is planning on launching a Kickstarter campaign soon, but until then, you can wishlist it on Steam!
