Indie game developers share their work progress every week on Twitter with the #ScreenshotSaturday hashtag. In this piece, we take a look at the most interesting and eye-catching screenshots or short videos of indie games shared on Saturday, December 5th, 2020.

GameLuster has a Screenshot Saturday round-up every week. You can check out last week’s list here!

Beautiful Island

Island Screenshot

We don’t know what’s going to happen in this island, but it looks awesome! The game’s artist (@lowpolyfish) shared this project in a tweet, and it’s an interesting look into the early stages of game development. We’re excited to see what this work in progress will lead to.

Desohunter

Beautiful environment, art style and animation is what we are looking for in Screenshot Saturday, and Desohunter has it all. Developer @witsaraz shared this short video in this tweet, and got us excited for this upcoming indie title.

More Winter Vibes

Snowy Scene Screenshot

Winter is coming, and game devs are sharing their best winter themed screenshots, like this beautiful scene shared in this tweet from game designer @wayward_prophet. The snowy lake in the classic pixel art style is really stunning, and we are looking forward to see more of this game!

Vulpine

I don’t know what this is, but I want to pet it and cuddle with it, and that’s more than enough to make it to our list! This is a character from the game Vulpine, that the developers @clockworkgiant
shared in this tweet. The character design is fantastic, as is the animation itself! We can’t wait to see how the rest of the game looks.

UFO On Tape

These amazing and “alien” visuals, are from a game called UFO On Tape. Developers @revolutionaryco shared these screenshots in this tweet. It sure is going to be interesting to explore this unique and colorful world.
