Indie game developers share their work progress every week on Twitter with the #ScreenshotSaturday hashtag. In this piece, we take a look at the most interesting and eye-catching screenshots or short videos of indie games shared on Saturday, November 14th, 2020.
Spacey Pew Pew
This spacey pew pew, as the developer calls it, was the star of this week’s Screenshot Saturday. The developer shared the short footage in this tweet, and it’s pure action and excitement. We don’t know what this game is called yet (although spacey pew pew is pretty solid), but we can’t wait to see where its headed!
Sons of Valhalla
The developers of Sons of Valhalla shared this beautiful screenshot from their upcoming game in this tweet. The classic platformer art style is taken to its full potential with the amazing color pallet and lighting. We are excited to see more of this game soon.
Existensis
The developers of Existensis gave us the most unique and surreal level selection screen in this tweet, and we love it. If this is just selecting a level, I can’t imagine what’s waiting for us in the game, and we are looking forward to seeing it.
Less Is More
I love point and click games, and they are often underrated. This tweet showed us how intriguing an exciting a minimalist point and click game can be. You don’t need much to tell a story, and we can’t wait to hear this one.
