Since their arrival last year Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric for the Wii U, and Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal for the Nintendo 3DS have not exactly been the favorite games of a lot of people, the games were disliked by critics and released to some major flaws which made the games hard to like. However despite all the games issues combined they have sold a total of 62000 copies to date. This of course was announced as part of Sega’s financial results briefing for the past fiscal year (this of course being between 2014-15, which ended on March 31st).
In the next fiscal year (April 1st, 2015 – March 31st, 2016) SEGA plans to release a total of 34 titles – 14 in Japan and 20 in the West. SEGA expects to sell 7 140 000 units in that period of time.
