Are there any Dragon Quest fans here? Well are there? If there is you will all be excited by some news that recently came to light. Niconico Super Conference 3 in Chiba, Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii spotted that Square Enix is making the next entry in the Dragon Quest franchise, which while it may be somewhat speculation, it is possible he could be referring to Dragon Quest XI.
Once Horii mentioned this, Dragon Quest X producer Yosuke Saito as well as chief planner Anzai Takashi looked over at him as if shocked as they did not expect him to say this. So was it possible he let slip something he shouldn’t have or was this part of a master plan to bring hope to the fans of the Dragon Quest franchise, we will never know.
No official details about the upcoming game has been mentioned, or what consoles it could be on but given the history of the Dragon Quest franchise I imagine we could see this on the 3DS but anything is possible. But more then likely it will appear on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One, either way lets just hope they localize the game and don’t just keep in Japan like other entries.
