Star Wars Battlefront Beta Will Be Open To All

The publisher Electronic Arts (EA) says that they will provide enough server capacity for anyone who wants to play the Star Wars Battlefront beta.

A Battlefront community manager named Mathew Everett, confirmed on EA’s Star Wars blog that the beta would remain open once it is released. He has also provided new details about what gameplay modes will be available in the game. Sadly, he was not able to offer more information about a release date.

He also said that the beta

“will consist of both our offline and online modes, including co-op and split-screen co-op, and it will take place on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and via Origin for PC.”

As well as placing as many as 40 players together in epic multiplayer battles, the beta will also serve as a demo for an offline co-op mission mode named Survival. This mission takes place on Tatooine and sends various waves of Imperial AI opponents towards the players.
