Techland has revealed that Dying Light: The Following will be available early 2016

Dying Light is one of the years more interesting games, where we are seeing the usual trend of well known franchises getting sequels, Dying Light emerged as a completely new intellectual property, sure it was the same zombie type game we had seen countless times before but it was still a very interesting game that has kept fans happy. One of the big things that also sets Dying Light apart is that extra content has not been rushed out as fast as the game launched, no major expansion has arrived to date though one is on its way. In 2016 we will be seeing the arrival of Dying Light: The Following the first expansion for Dying Light, better still developer Techland have confirmed that we will be seeing the extra content arrive within the first quarter of next year. Techland had this to say:

“Today we finally know that Dying Light: The Following will launch within the first three months of 2016. This gives us enough time to put in all the content and surprises we have planned for you guys. So keep your eyes peeled for some sneak peeks into what we have in the works for you all. And we promise to share the exact day of release as soon as we get a final decision.”

The Following will bring some new content to the game with a fully upgradable and customizable all-terrain Dirt Buggy. Unless you have bought the season pass the extra content will set you back a US $14.99 and it will be available for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
