The Stanley Parable co-creator Davey Wreden is launching his new game later this week.
The Beginner’s Guide is a game shrouded in mystery, as few details have been released. However, what we do know is that it will be released on Mac and PC on October 1st. According to Wreden, the game is a “narrative, first person game”, and wont be released under the name of the Galactic Cafe, the indie team that includes the co-creator of The Stanley Parable, William Pugh.
The Stanley Parable is a first-person narrative game in which players control an office worker named Stanley. Throughout the game, Stanley is faced with many choices, each of which impact the story and the voice over narrative. The developers encouraged players to replay the game making as many obscure choices as possible to unlock all of the games endings.
