Telltale is getting set to return us to the world of the Walking Dead in its new miniseries, first revealed during the game awards last year the new miniseries will tell the story of the character Michonne with the first episode in this tale set to arrive on February 23rd.
This new series will run for a total of three episodes and will focus heavily around the comic book universe, Telltale shared the following information which places the series within the comic book lore:
“Haunted by her past, and coping with unimaginable loss and regret, the story explores Michonne’s absence between issues #126 and #139 of the comic book”.
As you can see from the picture above the first episode will be titled “In Too Deep” and will have Michonne join the crew of The Companion, a sailing ship led by a man named Pete. A distress signal calls them to shore to find the remains of a massacre and maybe the man behind it all.
This series will be arriving on all the usual systems including PC, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 for the first episodes release on February 23rd, with IOS and Android versions arriving on February 25th. The first episode will cost $5, however you can pick up the whole series at one time for $15. Episode 2 will be titled “Give No Shelter” and will release sometime in March, with the third and final episode “What We Deserve” arriving in April.
