For all that Konami’s done wrong over the past year they clearly are still putting some faith in at least one of their older franchises and why shouldn’t they? Yu-Gi-Oh! is still a powerhouse in the modern industry, even if the TV show lost its way after GX the card game still chugs along at a nice pace even if I cannot understand the new rules. But speaking of the card game Konami is still making sure videogame fans have a lot to look forward to in regard to the game, a couple of weeks back it was revealed that a new game was headed to the 3DS, now Konami has revealed even more.
The company has revealed three new Yu-Gi-Oh! games are in the works to be released over this year, the first of these titled Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links will arrive for Mobile devices in spring. In summer the 3DS game will arrive although no new details have been confirmed, and a new online game will be released for consoles and PC in winter. Not only that but existing console game Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist and the mobile Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation will be getting major updates down the line.
No actual details have been revealed for these games but Konami clearly plans to keep the franchise busy and fans happy throughout 2016
