Ubisoft E3 2019 – ‘Always Sunny’ Crew Tease New Gaming Comedy

Rob McElhenney, who plays Mac in the hit US sitcom, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,  took to the Ubisoft stage to announce his new TV show, Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet, a comedy about a fictional gaming studio behind the worlds biggest MMO.

MythicQuest is also written by some of the producers from Always Sunny, and has David Hornsby joining the cast, who plays Matthew “Rickety Cricket” Mara in the show. Ashly Burch, whose best known for lending her voice to video games such as Horizon Zero Dawn, will also appear in the show.

At the conference, McElhenney said that he’s teamed up with Ubisoft for the show to make it as authentic as possible, stating “no one smells bulls**t” like the gaming community.

McElhenney will play the creative director, Ian Grimm, who shown to have a huge passion for gaming, and an even bigger ego. You can watch the teaser trailer here:
