One of the things I really hate about Disney Infinity and Skylanders is that by the time the following year rolls around the game seems to be receiving no support, and may as well be forgotten in favor of the upcoming game instead. Warner Brothers Interactive doesn’t seem to be going down this route with Lego Dimensions, even with the game launching in September it will still be seeing support into 2016 with new packs. Warner Brothers Interactive officially announced a few new ones today.

New Team Packs and Fun Packs featuring The Joker, Harley Quinn, Superman, Aquaman, Bane, Doc Brown, Sensei Wu and Lloyd are due out in the first half of 2016.  Each pack comes with a new buildable characters, vehicles, tools, gadgets, and special in-game abilities. Moreover, the packs can be used in any part of the game and with any character.

LEGO Dimensions will be available on September 27.
