Beyond Forza Horizon 6, the wave has genuine range. Remnant II is a rock-solid co-op shooter-RPG that punishes complacency across its procedurally twisted worlds – one of the stronger catalog pickups in this batch. The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition is Obsidian Entertainment‘s award-winning RPG in its most complete form, and if you missed it the first time around, there’s no better entry point. Final Fantasy VI – the pixel remaster of Square Enix’s beloved SNES classic – lands June 2 alongside Jurassic World Evolution 3, the latter arriving as a Day 1 addition with a series-first juvenile dinosaur mechanic.
For the more niche-minded: Dead Static Drive pitches itself as “Grand Theft Cthulhu,” a 1980s Americana survival-horror road trip that earns points for sheer concept alone. Winter Burrow is a cozy mouse-restoration sim for when the chaos gets too much. And Pigeon Simulator – government conspiracy pigeons, New Squawk City, need we say more – arrives on Handheld too, which feels correct.
Here’s the real read: Wave 2 of May 2026 continues what’s shaping up to be one of the stronger months on the service this year, stacking two Day 1 titles (Forza Horizon 6 and Jurassic World Evolution 3) around a deep catalog pull. Worth noting: several titles here are gated to Game Pass Premium and above rather than the base tier, a pattern that’s been growing across 2026 drops – something to weigh up if you’re still deciding whether Game Pass is worth it at your current tier.
