Many of us were surprised by just how good Amazon’s Fallout streaming series turned out to be. Successfully adapting both the action and bizarre comedy of Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic world seemed like a tough task, but Amazon’s series managed to strike a balance that felt true to the original source material, and came out all the better because of it. We’ve all been eager to hear when Season 2 would be coming, and now we’ve got a debut month set – Fallout Season 2 will start this December.
Not only are we guaranteed the Season 2 this year, but a confident Amazon has already greenlit a third season. Whilst our cast will be headed through the wasteland of the Mojave and into the hotly-anticipated adaptation of the city of New Vegas, we can rest assured that no matter what, we’ll be returning to the world of Fallout for another entire season afterwards.

Amazon likely felt so confident in early renewing the Fallout series for yet another season based on just how popular and beloved the first season was. Over on Rotten Tomatoes, both the audience and the critic scores sit comfortably above 90%, a clear sign of mass acclaim for the show. We loved it too, giving it a perfect 100 score for just how much it reignited our passion for the Fallout franchise as a whole, and how many others it got on board for the ride too. We can’t wait for more with Season 2.
