Pokémon Legends: Z-A Releases October 16, With A Pokémon Presents Coming In July

We just got two major Pokémon news stories at the same time, as Pokémon Legends: Z-A finally gets a release date, and a major Pokémon presentation also gets scheduled for this summer. We’ll be able to jump back into Kalos in Pokémon Legends: Z-A on Oct. 16, but before that we’ll be getting more news on all things Pokémon in the July 22 Pokémon Presents!

Along with the confirmed release date for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, we also got the reveal of the game’s cover art we’ve used as our headline image above, and another confirmation of a Switch 2 Edition releasing on the same day. Nintendo Switch 2 players can either buy the Switch 2 Edition upfront, or purchase the standard Pokémon Legends: Z-A for the original Switch and pay the upgrade price. The Switch 2 Edition upgrade brings higher quality visuals and frame rate

We’re hoping to finally see some new Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, perhaps to be revealed in July’s Pokémon Presents.

We’ll likely hear more about Legends: Z-A in the Pokémon Presents set for July 22, and we’re hoping we’ll finally hear something about new Mega Evolutions too. Whilst it seems unlikely, we could also be shown something about what’s next for Pokémon, including the potential Generation 10 we’re expecting to see sometime on the Switch 2.
