Sonic And Pac-Man Are Teaming Up For A Double Game Crossover

The iconic speedster Sonic and the nostalgic hero with an endless appetite Pac-Man are set to have a double crossover later this year, as both Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac joint announce collaboration events. As part of the crossover, both gaming icons will be appearing in each other’s latest game releases, so let’s break down which game is getting what and when we can expect to see the collaborations drop.

First, we’ll start with Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. The latest racer from gaming’s fastest hedgehog is getting a Pac-Man DLC as part of its upcoming Season Pass, which is absolutely stacked with crossover characters from other franchises. The Pac-Man DLC will add the titular Pac-Man as a playable racer, along with all four iconic ghosts, a new Pac-Village racecourse, a Pac-Man Mobile racing car and new sounds, emotes and decals. This DLC will release early in 2026, and an Open Network Test was also announced for all players worldwide.

It’s Pac-Man’s turn to try out Green Hill Zone in the Sonic-themed Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac DLC.

The other half of the collaboration event takes place in Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac, which will get a Sonic the Hedgehog DLC collaboration to purchase individually or as part of the game’s Deluxe Edition. The DLC comes with three Sonic-themed stages to explore (including Green Hill Zone), 20 collectibles figures based on the crossover event, along with a Sonic costume for Pac-Man. This DLC will be available in late 2025, following Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac‘s launch on September 26.
