The Fortnite island is about to get a little more golden, as Fortnite‘s next item shop update will see the addition of the iconic KPop Demon Hunters. Following their breakout success with the Netflix-Sony animated release that dominated the summer, the Huntrix girls of KPop Demon Hunters will be available to purchase in-game with cosmetic bundles, including Outfits, Back Blings, Pickaxes and even an emote. The official release date is October 2, but depending on your timezone and when the item shop updates that could be later tonight!
The specific list of cosmetics was just revealed over on X (formerly Twitter) by SpushFNBR, but each Huntrix skin has already been officially showcased by Epic Games through a variety of channels. There will be three skins – one each for Rumi, Mira and Zoey – along with a Back Bling of each of their respective ramyeon cups, and a Pickaxe for each based on their weapons in the movie. Finally, there’s also a Zoey’s Thumbs Up emote based on the viral motion made by the character in the film. That’s a total of ten KPop Demon Hunters items available to buy tomorrow! It’s also possible there will be two additional dances, as another reliable Fortnite leaker HypeX said there are two KPop Demon Hunter dance emotes coming with the collaboration too.
Notably, the leaks seems to suggest there are no Jam Tracks, which is quite peculiar given that Huntrix are a music group that are as dedicated to their music careers as they are to saving the world from demons. The songs in the movie are topping charts globally, but hopefully their omission is explained by more future collaborations to come. Maybe we’ll see the Saja Boys in a future wave of cosmetics, or perhaps even a Fortnite Festival season should Epic make another one with a headlining artist.
