As I predicted, Sony is doing the hard sale for their PlayStation Vita. At the Sony presentation, it was announced Assassin's Creed Liberation is set to be released in October exclusively for the lagging Vita.
The setting is during the failed 1768 Louisiana rebellion and will feature a female assassin named Aveline, a first in franchise history. It seems American history a theme this year. AC, Call of Duty, and Metal Gear should help rekindle some much-needed interest for the Vita.
Is it enough to move sales though? Well, if it's not, Sony will be selling a Liberation bundle to whet our appetites. The bundle will include a Vita in a brand spanking new White Crystal color, the game, and a 4G memory memory card. Yup. The hard sale.
