Assassin’s Creed Shadows For Nintendo Switch 2 Found On PEGI Website

The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to be much more powerful than its predecessor, with heavy hitting third-party titles like Cyberpunk 2077 already announced to be getting a Switch 2 port. Another big release may be coming to Switch 2, if the Pan-European Game Information (PEGI) website is to be believed. They’re the European age rating board for video games, and they’ve updated the Assassin’s Creed Shadows rating to include the Nintendo Switch 2 as an available platform.

The Switch 2 doesn’t yet appear on the dedicated Assassin’s Creed Shadows rating page, but does appear on the PEGI website’s home screen under the Assassin’s Creed Shadows section. It’s entirely possible this could be a mistake, but Ubisoft is no stranger to porting its games to the Switch, and we imagine they want as big an audience as possible for their make-or-break release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The vast Japan of Assassin’s Creed Shadows might just be making its way to Switch 2.

This is by no means a full confirmation of release, and it could have just been made in error. A quick glance at PEGI’s other titles and the consoles provided are all accurate though, so it’s not entirely out of the realm of possibility. We recently went hands-on with the Switch 2 early at an event in London, and we’re confident that an optimized version of Assassin’s Creed Shadows would probably be able to perform quite well on Switch 2. We’ll be sure to post an additional update should this story be verified as true by Ubisoft.
