Assassin’s Creed Valhalla May Feature the Return of a Previous Protagonist

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has not shied away from nodding to previous instalments in the franchise, notably with the option to rock Ezio’s gear. However, it appears Ubisoft may be cranking it up a notch with the return of Kassandra from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

The news was reported by Eurogamer and comes from French Assassin’s Creed leaker j0nathan on YouTube. Whilst, this might be easy to brush off, j0nathan has a sparkling track record when it comes to leaking Assassin’s Creed news in the past. However, it should still be taken with a grain of salt.

According to the leak, Eivor will meet Kassandra in a fresh quest line on the Scottish island of Skye, which will be a new location for the game. As this will be an entirely new quest line with a new scenic backdrop, it is not clear whether this will be as the result of a game update or a new DLC. Although we will give nothing away here, it’s worth noting that this leak is feasibly possible given what happens with Kassandra at the end of the Fate of Atlantis DLC.

Allegedly, Eivor will hear of some strange events and an unusual person who bears a resemblance to Ravensthorpe’s Randvi, who can also have the option of being Eivor’s lover. This has been interpreted as being a playful nod to fans having previously said that Randvi bears an uncanny resemblance to the previous protagonist.

Currently, this is all that has been revealed by j0nathan and other leakers in the community, which covers the quest introduction and the indication of a conversation between the two protagonists. This could be due to major spoilers or the limited availability of files, but either way we will have to wait until more information becomes available or Ubisoft release an update.
