Zevlor is one of the many NPCs in Baldur’s Gate 3 who players will have to find and rescue as part of a specific quest to progress further in the game. Even though you will find him very early on in the game, players are not given much information about his location. This handy guide will explain how to find and rescue Zevlor in Baldurs’s Gate 3.
Where To Find Zevlor In Baldur’s Gate 3
While progressing through Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3, you will pick up the Find Zevlor side quest. It is started by talking to Tieflings at the Last Light Inn. Zevlor resides in the Mind Flayer Colony, which can be accessed only after defeating the first game boss, Ketheric Throm. Once you are there, start walking north, and you will soon reach the Tadpoling Centre. This area is packed with multiple Pods, which contain Mind Flayers. Zevlor is trapped inside one of these Pods.
If you want to get Zevlor out, you must interact with the Neural Apparatus device on your right. Once you do, it will give you two major options: Release or Purge.
If you click Release, the device will free every Mind Flayer in the arena along with Zevlor. On the other hand, if you click Purge, it will kill every Mind Flayer, which includes Zevlor as well. So, choose the first option to progress in the quest. After that, your job is to kill every Mind Flayer released. Of course, you should NOT kill Zevlor, as you need to rescue him!
Once all the Mind Flayers are defeated, talk to Zevlor to complete the side quest. There are a few other friendly NPCs who will be released from the Pods, so you can talk to them as well to learn more about how they all got trapped.
