During Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3, the devil Mizora will visit your campsite and order you to save someone called “Zariel’s asset”. Surprisingly, the person you have to rescue is actually Mizora herself, since she has gotten herself trapped inside a Mind Flayer pod. At this point, you will be given a choice to save or kill Mizora, and this decision will heavily impact the fate of several characters. If you’re curious about which choice is the best, this guide can answer that question for you.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Save Or Kill Mizora Choice Guide
Although you may be tempted to kill the arrogant devil, it is better for you to save Mizora by unleashing her from the Mind Flayer pod. If you persist in killing Mizora, you will end Wyll’s life and remove him permanently from your team.
This is because Wyll is tied to the devil, thanks to the contract between the two. To make matters worse, Mizora will eventually get resurrected in Hell, making your choice to kill her pointless.
On the other hand, if you decide to save Mizora, you will obtain a very rare weapon called the Infernal Rapier. This martial weapon offers 6-13 Damage and lets you cast the spell Planar Ally: Cambion. It also has the High Spellcasting passive, which gives you a +1 bonus to Spell Save DC.
Mizora will also become a romanceable character during Act 3 if you’re not hostile to her during previous encounters. She’ll appear at your campsite, and you will have dialogue options that deepen your relationship with her.
If you do not break Wyll’s pact with Mizora, the devil will also help you locate the missing Duke Ravengard. However, if you decide to break the contract, Mizora will not help you and will even try to kill Wyll’s father. Of course, it is still possible for you to save Duke Ravengard, but it will be much harder with Mizora’s meddlings.
