City Connection will release Ninja Baseball League-Man: Bases Loaded on December 10 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam. The game is an HD remake of Irem’s 1993 arcade title Ninja Baseball League Man, according to GAME Watch.
The belt-scrolling action game combines baseball imagery with brawler combat. Its story follows the League Men as they set out to recover a golden baseball statue stolen from a baseball museum. Players can use combos, throws and one-button special moves against enemies.
New character, modes and music
The remake adds a playable version of Pink, who served as a support character in the original game. Pink joins the original four characters: Red, Green, Yellow and Blue.
The main Regular Season mode is based on the original game, while the new Climax Season is a higher-difficulty arranged mode. Climax Season changes enemy appearances and placements and introduces new stages. The game also includes additional events in its mini-game mode, including a home-run competition and a car-racing challenge where players compete for high scores.
Composer Yosuke Yasui has contributed newly arranged background music. Players will be able to switch between the arranged soundtrack and the original game’s music. City Connection also says the remake features adjusted controls and Full HD visuals.
Local co-op and pricing
Ninja Baseball League-Man: Bases Loaded supports one to four players through local multiplayer. The main game mode supports cooperative play for up to four players.

The physical edition is planned only for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The Nintendo Switch 2 physical release will use a game card.
Physical-edition bonuses
Initial production copies of the package edition will include Yakyuu Kakutou Meikan, a set containing a soundtrack CD of Yasui’s arranged music and a special fan book. The fan book includes arcade-version materials and character introductions. The bonus is limited to the initial production run and will end when supplies are exhausted.
City Connection’s Clarice Shop will also offer a cassette-tape bonus. The cassette contains selections from the arranged soundtrack that have been chosen and mastered for the format, with music split across both sides and packaged in a dedicated sleeve.
Launch information
City Connection opened the game’s official website and began package pre-orders on August 19. A Steam store page also opened that day for wishlisting. The publisher released a trailer introducing the game and scheduled an August 19 livestream to mark the announcement and start of reservations. The broadcast was set to show gameplay, discuss the game’s features and controls with its development director, include staff mini-game matches, and preview the newly arranged music.
The December 10 release is planned across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam. The remake brings the 1993 arcade game’s baseball-themed action back with Pink as a playable character, a new high-difficulty mode, new stages, mini-games and an alternate arranged soundtrack.
