Battlefield V Receiving Battle Royale Mode

A new mode has been confirmed for Battlefield V.

During Electronic Art’s E3 conference, it was announced that Battlefield V will feature a battle royale mode. Not many details were shared about the upcoming mode, other than the fact that it does exist. It was confirmed that the series’ destructible environments will be a part of the game. EA did say that they will talk about the battle royale mode later this summer.

Also revealed during EA’s conference was the game’s single-player campaign. Entitled Nordlys War Story, this mode follows a young female resistance fighter trying to save her family in Norway. This single-player mode will show real and relatable people as they face the brutality of war. Expect more information about this War Story tomorrow in Microsoft’s conference.

The upcoming battle royale is not the only mode that has been revealed for Battlefield V recently. Earlier this month, EA announced Airborne. According to the publisher, Airborne is a new mode that has players parachute onto the field and work with their squad to destroy enemy artillery, or defend them from the threat coming from above.

Battlefield V will release on October 19. The game will release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
