Developer Arc System Works has released the opening animation for BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle. In the animation, we see many of the characters who will be playable in the game, and get plenty of close-up shots of them. All four of the series that make up the cast of Cross Tag Battle are equally represented, with those characters putting out some decent action.
It was announced last week that there will be an open beta for the PlayStation 4 version of Cross Tag Battle this weekend. The beta starts on May 9 for those who have pre-ordered the title digitally, and will start for everyone else on May 12. The beta will run through May 14. During the beta, all 20 of the game’s base characters will be playable, along with a number of different modes.
After the beta ends, an offline demo will be made available. Those who pre-ordered the game digitally will have all 20 characters available to them in the demo, while everyone else will have access to only four characters.
BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle releases in the U.S. on June 5. The game will release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The game will make its way to Europe sometime this summer.
