Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Finally Completes All Kickstarter Stretch Goals

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has certainly come a long way, after a hugely successful Kickstarter back in 2015, to now finally receiving its final update almost a decade later. ArtPlay has confirmed that the game’s next update will feature the last of the content that was promised in its initial Kickstarter. The update will be coming on May 9 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game, while the Nintendo Switch has a short wait until May 16 to receive the final update.

This final update will arguably feature two of the most interesting additions promised from the Kickstarter, these being the addition of Chaos Mode and Versus Mode. Chaos Mode will have players fighting through waves of different randomized enemies which will gradually become stronger as you progress. On the other hand, Versus Mode will have two players face off against each other as they take on numerous challenges while trying to outlast their opponent.

While these are the most exciting additions to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, the final 1.5 update will also add four new cosmetic packs for Miriam. Three out of the four packs will be purchasable while players will be given one for free. After the release of the game’s final update, the only thing that ArtPlay will have left to do is finally ship the physical copies for the PC version of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Despite this being the final update for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, this isn’t the last we will see of the series as ArtPlay has confirmed back in 2021 that a sequel to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was in the works. Hopefully, with the first game receiving it’s final update, we will likely hear more about the upcoming sequel soon.
