Compile Heart has announced that Brave Neptunia will be coming to the PlayStation 4.
Neptunia executive producer Norihisa Kochiwa released a video (seen below) giving a few details on the upcoming game, which is the first title in the series to be developed by a western developer. In the video (translation by Gematsu), Kochiwa revealed that Brave Neptunia will be subtitled "Sekai Yo Uchuu Yo Katsumoku Seyo!! Ultimate RPG Sengen!!" This roughly translates to "World! Universe! Pay Attention!! Ultimate RPG Declaration!!" According to Kochiwa, he came up with the name while in the bath. The game's name beat out over 50 other potential titles.
It was also announced that volume 661 of Dengeki PlayStation, which will release on April 26th, will have a good amount of information about Brave Neptunia. This will include information on the game's new characters, its story, new visuals of returning characters Neptune, Noire, Blanc, and Vert, game screenshots, and event CG.
The magazine will also have interviews with Kochiwa, illustrator Tsunako, assistant producer Tomoki Igarashi, and writer Shougo Mukai. Notable points will include why Brave Neptunia is a 2-D side-scrolling RPG, as well as information about its "unique new characters." The magazine will also include a interview with developer Artisan Studios, and will discuss why a Canadian developer is working on a Neptunia title.
Brave Neptunia: World! Universe! Pay Attention!! Ultimate RPG Declaration!! will be coming to the PlayStation 4. There is no release date at the moment.
