Call of Duty Black Ops 3 coming to last generation, not coming to Wii U

Bad news Wii U owners, the latest entry in the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will not be coming to the console as Activision officially confirmed today. This comes as quite a disappointment as the game has been announced to be coming to the last generation consoles the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. But it now pretty clear that Nintendo fans are left out in the cold once more.

A message left on Activision’s blog says:

It should be noted that there’s no version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 for Nintendo Wii U planned.

Although many rumors and hints were thrown around about a Wii U release it sadly is not coming to pass, but if we are being honest are we surprised, I think not. Given that Advanced Warfare never came to the Wii U, it seemed like it was just a pipe dream that we see Black Ops 3 but either way I still am disappointed by this news as the Wii U offers the best Call of Duty experience I have seen across the entire franchise. Clearly developers don’t care about offering the best experience and instead just want to push the lesser experiences forward.

At least people who have yet to move forward and adopt either a Playstation 4 or Xbox One can still can still get Black Ops 3 so at least there is good news there.
