Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Announces Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Collaboration

The latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 collaboration has been announced, and the crossover is set to be totally tubular. That’s right, after the recent (and controversial) Squid Game collaboration, Call of Duty has set its sights on Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In a small teaser shared online, we see the iconic squad peeking out from a manhole, preparing themselves for their arrival on the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 item shop.

There’s not really any more details than this first glimpse, but it’s an interesting start to the crossover, and the parts of their character models that we see do look good. The Squid Game collaboration recently was a controversial one due to Activision’s choice to add a separate purchasable event pass with additional Squid Game-themed cosmetics, to squeeze out even more money from the crossover outside of the purchasable skins from the in-game Black Ops 6 store too.

We don’t exactly know how the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be bundled, whether there will be a way to buy Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael grouped as a foursome, or whether each will be a separate purchase. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been suffering a severe player drop-off as time passed since its release, which we praised quite highly in our review, but the use of AI art, along with poor handling of the multiplayer space and lackluster updates have took some of the wind out of the game – including for me (the original reviewer!).

We expect the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle collaboration to release simultaneously with Season 2 Reloaded, sometime around Feb. 20. Will you be purchasing anything from the collaboration, and are you still enjoying Call of Duty: Black Ops 6?
