Minecraft is undoubtedly one of the biggest games of recent years, the sandbox builder has shined on multiple platforms and has spread fun and joy across the land to many people. Just about everywhere holds a place for this game except for one, Nintendo fans have had to resort to the Playstation or Microsoft versions to get their Minecraft fix with no sign of a Wii U version on the horizon but it appears this could be about to change. A Pegi rating (which you can see above) has recently surfaced focusing on Minecraft, in particular Minecraft: Wii U Edition based on the name we can rule out Telltales Minecraft game series which we already know is coming to the platform, but this does give room to speculate on what is going on, could the game be on the way to the Wii U? Perhaps the latest Nintendo Direct could reveal Minecraft to be coming to the platform by the end of the year, but we will have to wait and see. All I know is this rating has all but officially confirmed a Wii U versions existence, and Mojang has said before they are open to a Wii U version.
About Simon Smith
Hi, I am Simon Smith, I am an avid video game fan and love to talk about and discuss games, which is what brought me here. I have been writing about games since 2012, mostly I enjoy spending my time writing about the Nintendo Switch but I also enjoy the 3DS as well as the Playstation 4. These days I cover most things from news, to reviews (I always have something in the works) to random pointless opinion pieces.read more
