A new, extensive look at Kojima Productions' title Death Stranding was shown during Sony's conference this year.
We got a look at what the gameplay could be like, along with reveals of two new cast members to join Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen: Lea Seydoux and Lindsay Wagner.
Norman's character Sam carries heavy loads of suitcases, walks across desolate environments, scales cliffs, wades through water, walks across a rope bridge over a chasm, and sneaks by frightening, shadow-like monsters. He also uses a baby in a container to activate some kind of antenna, flashlight power. This was alluded to in the last gameplay reveal. It seems to be connecting with hiding from the mysterious monsters.
Story bits were given, such as an old photo of Sam's family, and reference to powers of the monsters in the gameworld. There are still a lot of questions, but we have finally seen what looks to be gameplay from Kojima's upcoming original title.
No release date was given.
Check out the gameplay below.
