Arkane Lyon has announced their upcoming title Deathloop will be delayed until Q2 of 2021. In an image post on the game’s official Twitter feed, they laid out the reasons for the delay.

This marks yet another high profile game delayed right before the launch of the next console generation. The most recent delay announced was Halo Infinite, which has been postponed to sometime in 2021. Arkane Lyon, it seems, has a more refined sense of how long the delay will be and how much work is left before the game is complete.
As for what might be revealed in the next update, there’s no telling, but it would need to be something significantly impressive to counteract the impact of the delay.
