September 9th has finally hit, and arguably the most anticipated game of the year has been released – Destiny. The developers at Bungie and the publishers at Activision were quick to let reviewers know that reviews should not be released until a week or so after September 9th, because they will get the chance to play with thousands of other people.
However, as much as this may apply to GameLuster, it does not apply to gamers. Metacritic allowed for gamers to review Destiny, and the reviews are very low in the “user score” category. It is mostly filled with zeros or tens, both of which should rarely be given. This is a sign for Metacritic to fix its user scores, as there has been an outcry in the gaming community.
Remember to not be skeptical of a game because of the user scores. Read through them first before you make a decision.
