Digital Indie Showcase “Guerrilla Collective” Coming June 6

Media Indie Exchange (MIX) and Kinda Funny Games Showcase have announced that they are teaming up to bring the world Guerrilla Collective, a brand new way to celebrate all the fantastic indie games out there. The all-digital event will begin on June 6, 2020, at 10 p.m. PST / 1 p.m. EST and continue through June 8. The first two days will be focused on announcements and trailers, with the 8th focusing on developer interviews and all-new gameplay.

Guerrilla Collective, which is officially confirmed to be part of IGN’s previously announced “Summer of Gaming” event, will be hosted by Kinda Funny co-founder Greg Miller. It has been established to feature new game announcements, trailer, gameplay demos, developer interviews, and more. News and notifications “for all platforms” are expected.

The Collective’s official Twitter proudly declares that the event will feature “Fresh game reveals and announcements from some of the coolest studios and publishers on Planet Earth.” Presenters will include Larian Studios (best known for Baldur’s Gate 3), Rebellion Developments (the Sniper Elite series), Paradox Interactive (Cities: Skylines, Stellaris, also confirmed to be involved with the recently announced Vampire – The Masquerade Bloodlines 2), Humble Bundle, and many more. Check out the full list here.

Interested gamers can sign up via the official Guerrilla Collective website to receive email updates as more information is revealed. Also, some slots remain for developers and publishers interested in showcasing their games during the event. More information regarding available showcase slots can also be found via the event’s official website.

This exciting celebration of all things indie is a burst of exciting news. Amidst frequent COVID-19 related event cancellations, from E3 to Tokyo Game Show, this announcement of a brand new event is exceptionally welcome. MIX and Kinda Funny are bringing gamers precisely what they need in these troubling times.

Will you be watching Guerrilla Collective? What exciting new indie games are you hoping to see announced during the event? Let us know!
