Psychological horror visual novel phenomenon Doki Doki Literature Club‘s expanded version Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! is out now digitally on PC and consoles for $14.99, with a $29.99 premium physical edition for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on the way too. Check out the launch trailer below:
In addition to a full 1080p HD visual upgrade, Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! includes a bunch of new features. The biggest of these is hours of new content in the form of six brand new Side Stories which detail the origins of the Literature Club, as well as further explore the friendship between the club members. The soundtrack has doubled, with 13 additional unlockable music tracks from Nikki Kaelar and special guests Jason Hayes and Azuria Sky, and a new built-in music player that lets you create custom playlists or loop songs. Players can also unlock over 100 images, such as wallpapers, game art, and never-before-seen concept sketches.
As well as a physical copy of the game on PS4, PS5, or Nintendo Switch, the premium physical edition from Serenity Forge includes two-inch standees of the main characters, a set of 17 stickers, a Literature Club membership card, a floppy disk-shaped card with a download code for the full soundtrack, and a special exclusive poem by Monika. The Switch version also comes with an exclusive poem notebook inner cover sheet. This edition is due to release this summer.
Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
