Domain Name Registered for Devil May Cry 5

A domain name for Devil May Cry 5 has been found.

It has been discovered that the domain name for DevilMayCry5.com was recently registered by GMO Internet Group (via ResetEra). This is the same registrar that has registered domain names for other Capcom titles, including Resident Evil 7 and Monster Hunter: World. The domain for Devil May Cry 5 was updated on June 1. Domains were also registered for DevilMayCry6.com, DevilMayCry8.com, and DevilMayCry9.com. DevilMayCry7.com has been registered by an outside party.

It was also found that the domain name for Resident Evil 2 was also updated recently. This suggests that we may be receiving an update on the remake of the game that was announced in 2015.

Speculation for Devil May Cry 5 began earlier this year when series director Hideaki Itsuno revealed that he was on the brink of announcing his new game. Since then, many have speculated that the title was a new addition to the Devil May Cry series.

E3 takes place from June 12 to 14. If an announcement for Devil May Cry 5 is going to be made, it may be there.
