Dragon Ball FighterZ Coming to Switch This September

Dragon Ball FighterZ is coming to the Nintendo Switch this September.

Bandai Namco has announced that Dragon Ball FighterZ will release on the Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe on September 28, one day after the Japanese version. Those who pre-order the game will receive immediate access to Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta. They will also receive a copy of the Japanese version of the SNES title Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden.

The Switch version of the title will not come with any of the DLC characters, though they will be available for purchase from day one.

Dragon Ball FighterZ was first announced for the Switch during Nintendo’s E3 2018 Direct presentation. Rumors that the game was coming to the Switch had been circulating the week before the event. It has since then been revealed that the game will feature simplified controls that will allow gamers to play the game using a single Joy-Con controller.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will be featured at this year’s Evo fighting game tournament in July.
