Dragon Ball FighterZ Switch Beta Coming in August

An open beta is on the way for the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ.

On Twitter, Bandai Namco announced that the Switch port of Dragon Ball FighterZ will receive an open beta this August. No exact date was given. It was also announced that the Switch version will receive two-versus-two and one-versus-one modes. There will also be an offline six-player party match mode.

Dragon Ball FighterZ was announced for the Switch at Nintendo’s E3 2018 Direct presentation. This version of the game features simplified controls that allow players to play the game using a single Joy-Con controller. The port will not come with any of the DLC characters that have been released so far, but they will be available for purchase on day one.

Those who pre-order the Switch version of the game will gain instant access to Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta. They will also receive a copy of the SNES title Dragon Ball Z: Butoden as a pre-order bonus.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The title will release for the Switch on September 28th.
